Your Sudoku Board
Your Sudoku Board is on the right. It has nine Rows, nine Columns and nine Table Blocks.
Each of these sections of the Sudoku Board have nine cells. Some of the
cells are already filled in. You job is to figure out what numbers go in the cells where
the Check Off Tables are.
You can only use the numbers 1 - 9 and you cannot use them more than one time
in each Row, Column and Table Block. Good Luck!
Check Off Tables and the Color Change Drop Down
Check Off Tables
The Grey Cells with small numbers from 1 - 9 are
Check Off Tables. They will change color when you click them.
Use them to help keep track of which number doesn't belong.
Wh, Lm, Red
To the left you will see a drop down box that says
Wh, Lm, Red. This is the default. You can choose a
color and when you click a number in the Check Off Table it will change to that color.
This color setting helps when determining whether a number is in a column or
row which is in a specific table box. You can use White if the number is in a cell,
Lime if the number is only in a Table Block Row when there is more than on of that
mumber in the Table Block. Red would do the same but for the columns.
Rotate 5 Colors
If you see that it is possible for a particular cell to be a certain
number, click that number in the Check Off Table. It will turn
white. As you continue playing you may
find that something else keeps the number you checked from being correct.
Click it again and it will become black, hiding the text.
Lime and Red are the next
two colors. Click it again to change it back to Grey.
Color by Number
Each Check Off Number is assigned a specific color. It will change to that color
when it is clicked.
Change This Color to That Color
Use this to quickly change multiple Check Off Table Cells colors at the same time.
The default color is Grey, so during the game you may
want to change the remaining grey cells to black.
Select the (grey) color from the drop down box on the left. This represents the
color of the Check Off Cell Colors you want to change. In the Drop down on the right
choose the color you want to change it to (black).
Then click the Go button.
Undo Feature
The Checkbox to the left of the
Undo Button will enable it when it is checked. You may
notice a slower performance when it is checked. When
Saving a Game or Refreshing the page, you will lose all you Undo History.
Sometimes you may have to click the button twice before it will work.
Save Game
You can Save a Game you started by Clicking
the Save Game button and copying the text from the
TextArea above. Directions will appear in the text.
Put in the Correct Answer
When you are sure of the Correct Number for a particular cell,
click anywhere in the Check Off Table, then click the Correct Number in the
Orange
Table
with
the
Yellow
Border
.
If you make a mistake you can use this process to get a fresh Check Off Table.
Above this table is a white table with the
light grey border will help you
know if you have used 9 of the same number. The background will automatically
turn black, hiding the number. The background will turn
red if you have more than 9 of the same number. If the
checkbox to the far left of the Undo button is checked, you will also be
notified with a messagebox if you put more than 9 of the same number
on the Sudoku Board.
Check Button
When you have finished all the cells,
click the Check Button to check your answers.
The Check Button will mark
DUPLICATE ANSWERS ONLY
by changing the text color to Red.
If you uncheck the Checkbox to the left of the
Check button, the computer will replace the
duplicates with a fresh Check Off Table. Or you can manually do it. You can
continue playing the game and check it as many times as you like.
You may have some correct answers that have
been marked as duplicate and some incorrect answers
that haven't been marked duplicate. Either way, you didn't win. This game does
not fix your mistakes.
The Game Board can be printed
